内容简介:
红色高棉在1975-1979年间的有计划的大屠杀，当年一百七十多万的城里人在被赶到乡村以实现红色高棉农业乌托邦的梦想中因饥荒和屠杀丧失了生命，导演（1979年坐了四年红色高棉的劳改营后逃出，时年15岁）访问了位于金边（PhnomPenh）的TuolSleng监狱（简称S21，其时有17000多人在此折磨至死或简单地被杀死。现为大屠杀展览馆）的当年的犯人（他仅能找到的两位）和守卫，讲述当年令人发指的灭绝性的大屠杀情景，探讨大屠杀为何会发生。
